Mutability. The strength of a digital canvas, and all of its information, is its ability to change. In that change, there’s room for the strange(ly beautiful); room for the anthropomorphic, the humorous, the loud, and the intentionally internet-core. Videos are temporal, because time is inevitably always changing – just as my body decays [metamorphoses] into something new, layers deep in separation from where it started, with its claws tearing gashes into stone. Stone, eternal and emotionless, can never revert to a state it existed in prior – it only wears away. The digital stone remedied this – but for how long? It will eventually disappear, because the ability to change invites impermanence.
How long will it take for my human body to disappear and become [everything] within the digital world?
